Most consumers consider the Wii the most wholesome of the three home consoles thanks to its large library of kid-friendly titles and Nintendo's squeaky clean reputation. But with the release of Sega's blood-splattered Wii game MadWorld, that perception could undergo a serious shift.

In a press release, the National Institute on Media and the Family takes Nintendo to task for green-lighting the gruesome action game, which lets players dismember enemies in a variety of creative ways as they fight their way through a violent game show.

"The release of MadWorld for the Wii brings violent video games to a once family-friendly platform," says NIMF president Dr. David Walsh. "MadWorld is another reminder that parents need to make sure they watch what their kids watch and play what their kids play."

Releasing Tuesday, the M-rated game has already endured its share of controversy. Back in August of last year, media watchdogs in the U.K. urged the British Board of Film Classification to refuse giving MadWorld a rating, effectively banning it from sale. Fans were outraged, though the game eventually received an 18 rating. MadWorld won't be offered at all in Germany, where violent video games typically are frowned upon.

In their defense, a Nintendo spokesman told the DailyMail that the game "will be suitably age rated through the appropriate legal channels and thus only available to an audience above the age rating it is given."

It's hardly the first time Nintendo has been in hot water for giving the okay to a violent game. In 2007, the Wii version of controversial "murder simulator" Manhunt 2 met with a massive backlash and was initially rated 'AO' by the ESRB -- essentially amounting to a ban. Publisher Rockstar Games responded by editing the content, and the title eventually shipped with the more common 'M' rating.

To NIMF, however, the release of MadWorld could leave an indelible mark on Nintendo's family-friendly rep.

"In the past, the Wii has successfully sold itself as being the gaming console for the entire family and a way to bring family-game nights back into people's living rooms. Unfortunately, Nintendo opened its doors to the violent video game genre. The National Institute on Media and the Family hopes that Nintendo does not lose sight of its initial audience and continues to offer quality, family-friendly games."  So Sega might screw Nintendo?

Ok i just seen Bed Time Stories today and it was funny i thot it was gonna suck like most Disney movies today like
" high school musical 1 2 3 " lol any way this movie was funnyer than i was thot adam sandler was peretty damn funny at some parts and theres a guina pig named Bugsy lol he mostly made the movie funny but like yea its good for a famliy movie

Whatever happened to the PSP? The device that Sony once touted as "the Walkman for the 21st century" is fast disappearing from popular consciousness, and if you believe the rumors circulating just three-and-a-half years after its launch, it's up for a major rethink in 2009.

Over the crucial month of November, the Nintendo DS shifted a jaw-dropping 1.5 million units in the US alone (up 20% from last year) while the PSP languished, managing just 421,000 sales -- actually down 27%, in what was in general a tremendously strong month for video games.

Even the software support is eroding. Despite the PSP's healthy install base of around 13 million consumers, only six 2008 PSP releases scored better than 80% on review aggregating site gamerankings.com, compared with 16 on the DS. There's a good reason for that: nobody's making PSP games, because outside of one or two hits like this year's Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, nobody's buying them. That's only going to worsen when the superheavyweight Grand Theft Auto series (previously exclusive to the PSP on handhelds) releases its first DS title early next year.

In a lot of ways, it's a shame. The PSP is a far more capable hardware platform than the DS. It's a phone, a portable music player, a pocket-sized movie device, a mobile web browser, and when paired with a Playstation 3, a remarkably capable remote control for the system, capable of streaming music and movies from a PS3 over the Internet to wherever you happen to be.

Next to it, the DS looks like a product of another age. It's barely capable of 3D, let alone delivering a suite of mobile applications of the PSP's caliber. Not, in fact, unlike the contrast between the Playstation 3 (modern, immensely powerful, and pricey) and the Wii (underpowered, basic, and cheap.) Oh, and phenomenally successful. The parallels you can draw between Sony and Nintendo's offerings go deep.

But then, set the PSP next to the iPhone or iPod Touch, the year's other big winner in portable gaming, and the PSP's hardware design suddenly looks old hat. Where's the touchscreen? What are all these buttons for? What on earth is the point of this useless analog nub of a joystick? And why, in an age when flash memory is so cheap it practically comes in Cheerios boxes, are we still stuck with a huge, bulky, slow, and noisy optical drive? If you're going to compete by offering a powerful hardware platform, you actually need to outperform the competition. As the iPhone steps into the portable gaming ring, it's already got the PSP on the ropes.

Guess what, Sony: Apple already made the Walkman of the 21st century, and you missed the boat.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

it was amazeing i LOVED it you must see this movie its about a baby born as an 80 year old and grows
as a kid looking like he is 80 years old to a man in his 40s to a teenager at 17 to a kid at 8 to a toddler at 4 and back to a baby
it was sad :( funny =D and every thing you can think of brad pitt is so funny seeing him as an old man and than to a kid

this move is the best movie iv ever seen much better than " Big Fish " or " The Note Book " ( yes i seen the note book ) lol
its the best christmas movie ever
i give this movie a ***** 5 STARS best drama ever

the year was 1977 and it became a hit! with toys comic books video games under wear lol
and so much more lets start off with a new hope i like this one it was good for a start on the triogly
you know how it is darth vader takes princes leia blows up her home world and luke han chewy and ben go to the death star ( they where going to alderon leias home world ) and they went into the death star save her darth vader
kills ben luke says * NO!!* lol they take off in the falcon and they go to yavain IV ( 4 ) get redy to take battle
above the death star and blow it up * BOOM! * lol and luke and han get gold medals as chewbaca gets nothing
=( lol and the end now the empier strkes back this was the best one ever the good guys lost luke lost his hand
leia makes out with luke ( her brother WTF?!? )
what if they went a bit far and done IT thats messed up lol
so ya luke and the gang have a hiden base in the ice world of hoth and the empier finde the rebels and destroys
every thing the rebels have and they take off as han chewy and leia go to bispen A.KA. cloud city a city thats
in the clouds ( duh ) and han solos freind lando casersin puts them in a trap by the empier so after
luke takes off from daggoba once he knows how to use the force from yoda he goes to cloud city and meets
darth vader in an all out dule after they figth and luke loses his hand vader says * LUKE I AM YOUR FATHER *
lol luke says * NO! * and falls like 50 storys high and slides down some kinda ramp thing and falls in a hole
and hangs upside down from the city and after boba fett takes han solo to jabba the hutt londo and chewy and leia
save luke and luke gets a NEW hand lol the end now
my favroit one return of the jedi ( why is this one my fave? ) EWOKS!!!! lol
well C3PO and R2D2 go to jabbas palace as slave droids and to try and save han solo
wich never worked out at first so luke comes and trys to save han wich did NOT work out
so jabba sets a trap wich leads to the rancor a gaint monster that eats anything that moves! so luke is with out a ligthsabber * OH NO! * lol and so he uses the force and trows a rock at a door thing and the door slides
and down and kills the rancor ( how sad ) lol so then leia saves han and they kiss jabba watchs and * HAAHAHAHA * * ohche co haba lo jedi jkoco le baba * lol and after that the gang is about to be eaten
by a sand monster known as the sarlac a vishous monster that eats any thing it can get
so as the gang is about to get eaten boba fett comes to get han solo as han is still blind from being frozen in carbernigth and hits boba fetts jet pack and lands in the moth of the sarlac ( boba fett did not die he was alive in the monster but lost all his cool stuff in the comics ) and after the battle and the death of jabba the hutt
the gang go to endor the home world of the ewoks and find a 2nd death star in the works above endor
so its up to them to save the ewok world before the empier finshes the death star 2 so luke and leia and outher rebels are looking for a base and find scout troppers and luke and leia hop on speeder bikes and have a shoot out
in the forest as leia falls off her speeder bike and luke takes care of the 2 bikers with some ligthsaber action!

and han solo chewbaca C3PO R2D2 and luke go wandering the forest they are ambushed by ewoks * yub nub! * lol
its the ewok song lol they have been captcher by them as C3PO speaks ewok and says some thing ( wich i dont know ) and frees them so luke later tells leia that they are brother and sisther
 and she was like * OMG i mad out with you! * lol jk that never happend
so the battle of endor starts and many ewoks help the rebels defeat the empier as luke is inside the death star 2
with darth vader and have a realy cool and some how sad ligthsaber figth as darth sideous wants luke to join the
dark side he says no after he cuts off his dads hand and the empeor uses force lighting on him and
vader ( anakin skywalker ) gets sideous and trows him down a deep dark trench
and vader becomes a good guy again and lets luke talk off his helmet wich he needs to live so he can see luke with his own eyes and dies ( how sad =(  lol ) so after the battle of endor the ewoks have a dance party
and the galaxy is saved! and luke and the gang see yoda obiwan and anakin as blue jedi ghost
and the ewok hugs R2D2 and they have an after party! lol jk and its over!

its 1999
eipasode I the phantom menace comes out with the best sith ever DARTH MAUL!
i like this one becase it was cool i rember i seen it twice lol and rented it on VHS ( video tape for thos who dont know ) lol so any way yea they figth and they do bla bla bla lol
anakin is a winey lil kid and ya jar jar is just plane old jar jar no one cares for him lol
so ya qwigon jin obiwan
and dath maul figth and qwigon and dath maul die ( darth maul is not dead tho he came back with drio legs )
and ya the pepeol of nabo have a party deal and anakin becomes a jedi and ya thats it
now atackt of the clones comes out and it stared the obsesein of have clone tropper toys like 900 toys
or so and ya i like this one becase the big arena battle with jedi and driods and jango fett being all cool
( jango is the so called father of bobba fett and bobba is a clone just like clone troppers and storm troppers )
so any way obiwan anakin yoda figth count doko and anakin loses his hand doko runs away on a speeder bike
and padme and anakin get maried ( with out any one knowing )
and thats it
now eipasode III revenge of the sith it was a dark time for the jedi
many deaths and order66 to kill all jedi as palpatine ( darth sideous )
shows anakin that if he joins the dark side he can become the most powerfel jedi ther is and ya that did NOT go to good so any way padme has twins ( luke and leia ) and dies becase anakin i mean darth vader kills her with some dark side power and obiwan yoda bal organa hide the twins across the gallxy becase they had to hide them
from the sith so ya thats it
i give the saga ***** 5 stars

lmfao i love this movie!!!! they did it again mad me lmao once again ricky bobby was funny
